The Role
The opportunity
As a Senior Solutions Consultant with a focus on Sales & Strategy youll drive business growth by developing tailored Smartsheet solutions managing client relationships and leading strategic expansion initiatives with a focus on the Netherlands as well as building relationships with customers globally. This role blends technical expertise with business development ensuring a seamless experience from initial engagement to solution implementation. Importantly this is not a traditional sales role focused on outbound prospecting or cold calling. Instead you will work with warm inbound leads leveraging your technical and consultative skills to assess client needs and drive impactful solutions.
What youll be doing
- Develop and present Smartsheet-based proof of concepts to showcase technical capabilities and business value.
- Execute a structured sales process for inbound leads assessing client needs and developing tailored solutions.
- Own and manage accounts in the Benelux region and beyond ensuring regular engagement and identifying upsell opportunities.
- Collaborate with partners and key stakeholders to drive business expansion and market entry initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships conducting check-ins and strategic reviews to maximise long-term value.
- Engage in networking and relationship-building activities to strengthen AMXs presence in the market.
- Support implementation projects to gain insight into downstream processes and refine sales approaches.
- Consistently challenge the status quo by taking the initiative to implement innovative company processes and sales strategies ensuring AMX remains at the forefront of operational excellence.
Your profile
- You have a strongbackground in consulting technical sales or business development particularly within SaaS or cloud solutions.
- You have expertise in Smartsheet Excel or similar platforms and can confidently demonstrate technical solutions.
- You have experience in managing warm inbound leads conducting discovery sessions and structuring commercial proposals.
- You have excellent account management skills ensuring continuous engagement and identifying upsell opportunities.
- You can effectively collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project transitions.
- Youve completed a Masters degree in Business Engineering Business Computer Science or a related field.
- You speak Dutch and English fluently.
