Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for completion of the following items as per the Job Description (see above)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and engine defects in buses and other automotive equipment.
- Ability to overhaul and rebuild engines transmissions differentials brake systems and other major components by repair or replacement of parts.
- Ability to repair and install video camera systems and all other electrical components utilizing testing devices and machine equipment as required.
- Perform general tune-ups on existing gas equipment.
- Perform diagnosis on diesel equipment.
- Possesses a valid Class B Washington State drivers license with a Class B and Passenger/School Bus
- Possesses a current Washington State School Bus drivers authorization in accordance with WAC 180-20.
- Required to have a valid First Aid card including CPR and training for HIV/AIDS procedures.
- Successful Washington State Patrol and Federal Bureau of Investigation Fingerprint Clearance.
- Proof of Immunization (if born 1/1/57 or later).
- I-9 Employment Eligibility in compliance with the Immigrations Reform and Control Act.
- Completion of all district-required trainings within thirty (30) calendar days from hire date.
