As a Bank Healthcare Assistant inOutpatientsyou will:

• Support the outpatient department by working ad-hoc shifts as and when required to cover annual leave study leave and sickness.

• Assist colleagues in many specialties including Orthopaedics Gynaecology Urology Plastic Surgery ENT Cardiology GP Services Psychiatry and Physiotherapy

• Support the Clinical Head Of Department and nursing team to ensure theday-to-dayoperations of the department run smoothly.

• Assist consultants and nurses with procedures such as dressings and wound care.

Essential requirements for the post :

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent

Recent experience of working in a hospital setting as a healthcare assistant.

Desirable skills for the post :

Phlebotomy
