Turner Industries Group is looking for experienced Auto/ Diesel Equipment Mechanics for long-term nested maintenance at a site in the Deer Park TX area. The successful candidate will have experience working on heavy equipment gas/ diesel engines and hydraulic systems as well as small engine pieces of equipment such as golf carts and tractors. TWIC Required. This position offers:
- Regular 40 Hours per week (Overtime after 40)
- Sign-on bonus of $500 after 6 months $1500 after 12 months and $3000 after 18 months onsite.
- Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half

Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform electrical hydraulic and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines
- Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs
- Complete shop paperwork
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus
- 5 years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair
- TWIC Card
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record
Per diem and relocation is not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.
