Responsabilities :
Operations
- Plan organize direct and control the daily operational activities of warehousing and transportation of goods;
- Ensure proper management of storage areas to ensure order priorities are met;
- Maintain and improve operational processes for handling labeling and packaging goods;
- Prepare and participate in the annual inventory in collaboration with employees;
- Ensure the smooth operation of activities in collaboration with team leaders by organizing daily meetings with them;
- Conduct or ensure start-of-shift meetings and discussions with employees (DMS);
- Manage the maintenance of warehouse equipment;
- Support the team on the floor by occasionally participating in and assisting with the handling of goods when necessary.
Human Resources
- Plan workforce needs and carry out the selection hiring integration and continuous training of personnel in collaboration with the Warehouse Manager and human resources department;
- Determine and assign tasks to employees under your responsibility ensuring the achievement of objectives;
- Ensure that the level and quality of personnel in place are adequate to manage all tasks without delay throughout the year while maintaining performance objectives (KPI);
- Verify and approve employee timesheets and manage absence requests;
- Ensure compliance with company standards and policies;
- Manage personnel discipline under your responsibility conduct disciplinary meetings when necessary and follow up rigorously with the Warehouse Manager and human resources;
- Foster a climate conducive to productive exchanges by promoting teamwork;
- Participate in the annual performance appraisal process for personnel based on established criteria and set individual development goals;
- Ensure compliance with and application of health and safety rules at work;
- Encourage and mobilize your work teams;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a team leader or supervisor role;
- Strong business acumen focused on efficiency and productivity;
- Marked interest in coaching and developing a team to reach its full potential;
- Ability to delegate;
- Strong ability to lead manage inspire and mobilize a team;
- Adaptability and ease in understanding and improving operational processes;
- Ability to plan organize and prioritize to manage effectively;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
- Experience with an ERP computerized inventory system and proficiency in the Office suite.
