Bachelors Degree Science required.
Experience

Our Laboratory in the BWH Division of Neurocritical Care is seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with ongoing and future research studies. This laboratory takes a special focus on acute brain injury including but not limited to stroke and intracerebral hemorrhage. This role includes both translational laboratory work and clinical research operations.
The Research Assistant will partner closely with the Principal Investigator and research team to plan and execute experiments and manage study workflows. The laboratory component of this role requires the ability to plan experiments based execute them independently analyze data and communicate results effectively with the research team. The clinical research aspect of this role necessitates screening the ICU for eligible patients obtaining informed consent from patients/family members coordinating blood sample collection/processing and maintaining regulatory compliance across all studies. Prior experience in conducting wet lab assays working with animal models neuroimaging analysis database maintenance and/or statistical analyses is preferred.
The position offers meaningful exposure to translational neurocritical care research opportunities to contribute to manuscripts and conference presentations and collaboration with clinicians researchers and patients/families.
