.NET & C# Developer

Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: December 31 2026
Work set up: Hybrid 4 days onsite per week (must be eligible for BPSS)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a .NET and C# Developer to support the delivery of high-volume highly available enterprise applications. The role requires hands-on development using the latest versions and C# applying strong object-oriented principles design patterns and architectural best practices. This position operates within an Agile environment and contributes to building robust well-tested and well-documented solutions supported by CI automation and modern engineering practices.

What you will do:

• Develop solutions using the latest versions and C#.
• Apply design patterns SOLID principles and architectural best practices in application development.
• Implement object-oriented programming principles in all solutions.
• Deliver high-volume highly available enterprise applications.
• Apply Agile delivery practices ideally within SCRUM frameworks.
• Design and work with database systems and database design concepts.
• Implement test-driven development continuous integration and automation practices.
• Use CI and automation tools to support reliable software delivery.
• Critically analyse designs and provide constructive feedback.
• Critically analyse code and provide constructive feedback.
• Create clear useful and in-depth technical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications :

• Strong hands-on experience and C#.
• Good knowledge of SQL and database design concepts.
• Expert understanding of design patterns SOLID principles and architectural patterns.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Experience working in Agile environments with knowledge of SCRUM practices.
• Experience delivering high-volume highly available enterprise applications.
• Strong understanding of unit testing test-driven development and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using CI and automation tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
