Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for maintaining installing and commissioning of the machinery and equipment to an agreed standard in the area of responsibility
  •  
  • Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
    • Attend and conduct Safety meetings
    • Conduct and participate in Risk assessments
    • Carryout maintenance inspections of machinery and equipment.
    • Ensure lifting and working at heights equipment compliance with legal requirements
    • Attend to breakdowns and emergencies as required
    • Ensure that material spares and equipment are available as required
    • Ensure proper and adequate on the job training and coaching is provided to subordinates
    • Complying to environmental requirements
    • Completing job cards and description of work and spares used (PMs)
    • Performing work to the required standards and specifications

Qualifications :

  • 5O Level Subjects including Mathematics English and Science
  • Apprenticeship trained and Certified Competent as Boilermaker (Class 1)
  • A National Diploma or better  in Fabrication Engineering is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience post apprenticeship training.
  • Must be familiar with SHEQ Systems.
