Our belief is that if we can keep our families healthy our children will be healthier and our quickly growing communities will stay healthier. We provide safe social outlets for children and families in the St. MichaelAlbertville area.

Position Overview & Responsibilities

As an FYCC Event Assistant you will provide hands-on support to ensure FYCCs community programs are safe and engaging. You will assist with the physical setup and teardown of equipment monitor activities to ensure a positive environment for families and provide administrative support as needed during events. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of our various social outlets helping to manage participants and supporting lead staff in delivering high-quality programming that promotes healthy youth and community connections.

Start Date:March 6-7th
Schedule & FTE: Weekends. Varies greatly depending upon program needs. Approximately 5 events per year.

Salary & Benefits

Starting Rate: $20.00 per hour

No benefit eligibility other thanEarned Safe and Sick Time (ESST)as provided by law.

Requirements & Qualifications

We are looking for a dependable energetic individual who works well in a fast-paced community-oriented setting. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys interacting with the public and is comfortable moving between different types of tasks. Basic requirements include:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with children parents and community members.

  • The physical ability to assist with event logistics including lifting and moving supplies or equipment.

  • A positive attitude and a commitment to supporting a safe healthy environment for families.
