Summary
Purchasing /Materials Manageris responsible forPurchasing Inventory management Stockroom and Shipping
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plansdevelops manages and controls the activities of the Procurement organization including source identification obtaining quotes price analysispurchasing supply chain analysis administrationexpediting and reconciliation of invoicing discrepancies.
Develops communicates and administers team performance and career development plans and appraisals.
Serves as the primary contact forpurchasing inventory & shippingrelated questions negotiation of terms and conditions and pricing training policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments.
Managescurrent policies procedures and programs with a focus on their ability to enhance organizational value and efficiency.
Serves as an important part of the management team andfurnishes management personnel withtimelyinformation concerning performance metrics as well as market conditions and trends that may affect thecompanyoperation.
Ensurescontinued compliance with relevant laws regulations companypolicies.
Establishes communicates and implements short-term and long-term goals for the department to promote continuous improvement effectiveness and efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS
BA or BS in Business Administration or relevant field from four-year college or university
2-5 years ofdirectly relatedexperience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment in a Procurement rolerequired.
Procurement-related professional certifications and advanced degrees in a related field are desirable but not mandatory.
Solid analytical and computer skills
Strong communicationskills
Outstanding team building and leadership skills
Experience with XA and ERP a plus
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Proficientin Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to travel: 10%

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including but not limited to location education/training work experience key skills and type of position.
