KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Aircraft Maintenance:
- Deliver mission ready aircraft on time: Ensure airworthy aircraft and meets operational schedules.
- Perform maintenance per OEM and AMM: Carry out tasks in accordance with Airbus Helicopters documentation and the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM).
- Diagnose faults and rectify defects: Quickly identify technical issues especially in avionics and electrical systems and perform effective corrective actions.
- Order and track spares accurately: Source and manage parts to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance without delays.
- Maintain tool control and worksite safety: Ensure all tools are accounted for and that maintenance is conducted in a safe compliant environment.
- Adhere to SACAA and international aviation regulations: Comply with all maintenance and safety standards as outlined by SACAA and applicable regulatory bodies.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship: Complete maintenance within standard timeframes while ensuring consistent quality and reliability.
Technical Expertise
- Troubleshoot and resolve avionics issues: Accurately diagnose and repair issues in AS332 avionics systems including navigation communication autopilot and mission equipment.
- Implement airworthiness updates: Apply Airworthiness Directives (ADs) Alert Service Bulletins (ASBs) Customer Service Notices (CSNs) and Supplemental Structural Inspections (SSIs) as applicable to the AS332 platform.
Regulatory & Quality Compliance
- Support internal and external audits: Assist in SACAA inspections customer reviews and quality assurance audits by providing accurate records and technical inputs.
- Maintain full compliance with documentation and procedures: Ensure all work is documented per regulatory OEM and company requirements supporting traceability and continuous airworthiness.
CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Problem Solving: Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective practical solutions in high-pressure environments.
- Good Analytical Skills: Capable of interpreting technical data and system diagnostics to make informed maintenance decisions.
- Strong on Compliance: Consistently adheres to aviation regulations safety standards and internal procedures.
- Good Administration Skills: Maintains accurate records documentation and inventory control to support audit readiness and operational efficiency.
- Good Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and effectively with team members supervisors and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
