Job Summary

Economist (Accounting & HR)

Introduction A professional organization is seeking a versatile Economist to handle both Accounting and HR functions. This is a full-time on-site position located in Turda. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional capable of managing financial records while supporting human resources administration.

Your Role * Financial Accounting: Perform primary accounting tasks including recording invoices bank statements and managing cash flow.

  • HR Administration: Manage employee files draft employment contracts and handle various personnel-related documents.
  • Payroll Support: Assist in gathering data for payroll processing and ensuring timely payment of salaries and taxes.
  • Reporting: Prepare periodic financial reports and documentation required by state authorities (e.g. ANAF).
  • Compliance: Ensure all accounting and HR activities adhere to current Romanian legislation and company policies.
  • Office Support: Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the financial department.

Your Qualifications * Education: University degree in Economics Finance or Accounting.

  • Experience: Proven experience in accounting and/or human resources administration.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of Romanian accounting standards and labor law.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and experience with accounting software (e.g. Saga WinMentor).
  • Soft Skills: High level of integrity strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Communication: Clear and professional communication skills in Romanian.
