Summer Activity Camp:Futsal / Indoor SoccerInstructor (Miller CC)

Associated Recreation Council (ARC) in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation is seeking a qualified Futsal / Indoor Soccer Camp Instructor to lead youth futsal (indoor soccer) camps at Miller.

Kick off the summer with Futsal Camp. This exciting fast-paced version of soccer is played around the world. Instructors will work with participants to enhance their skills on the field while emphasizing teamwork skill development and scrimmaging.

Hourly Wage: $27.00$28.50Status: Part-time Seasonal
Location Miller Community Center

Schedule

Monday Friday
Camp session options may include:
- 9:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.
- 1:00 p.m. 4:30 p.m.
- 9:30 a.m. 4:00 p.m.

Summer Activity Camp: Futsal / Indoor SoccerInstructor Responsibilities:

Instruct participants in fundamental futsal and indoor soccer skills
Lead drills skill-building activities and scrimmages
Supervise participants and maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment
Set up and break down equipment and activity areas
Communicate effectively with ARC staff and site supervisors
Follow ARC and Seattle Parks and Recreation policies and procedures

Must be 18 years of age or older
Experience coaching or instructing soccer futsal or similar youth sports programs
Experience working with children in a recreational or camp setting
Ability to manage groups in a positive and supportive manner
