The salary range for this role is $83800.00 to $96370.00. Base salaries are determined during our interview process by assessing a candidates experience skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.

Job Summary:

Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to grow your expertise in Canadian financial reporting Pernod Ricards North America Accounting team is seeking a Senior Accountant with experience with IFRS financial statement this role you will focus on quarterly filings for Corby Spirit and Wine Limited a publicly traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange while maintaining accurate monthly reporting and balance sheet responsibilities. Youll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial integrity support audits and contribute to management reporting while playing a visible role in a dynamic multinational organization. What youll do:

• Draft quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements and note disclosures for Corby Spirit and Wine Limited maintaining complete supporting documentation for compliance purposes.

• Support quarterly regulatory filings including Management Discussion & Analysis documents Audit Committee schedules and financial presentations.

• Lead and coordinate aspects of the month-end and year-end close including journal entries adjustments and assigned balance sheet account reconciliations.

• Prepare and distribute monthly financial reporting packages for North America management and stakeholders.

• Record and analyze asset liability revenue and expense entries maintain subsidiary accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy.

• Assist with half-year and year-end consolidated reporting packages including documentation required for external audits.

• Research and resolve accounting issues related to IFRS updates business changes and ad hoc reporting requests.

• Partner with junior staff to review reconciliations and support continuous improvement of financial reporting processes.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance

• Canadian CPA designation (or equivalent)

• 2 years of accounting experience in a financial reporting or corporate accounting environment

• Hands-on experience preparing IFRS financial statements and related disclosures

• Experience supporting quarterly and annual close processes including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations

• Working knowledge of internal controls and compliance requirements related to financial reporting

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

• Experience using enterprise accounting systems (e.g. JD Edwards or similar ERP platforms)
