Job Description
Bose has an opportunity for a Co-op in Product Quality and Safety Lab in Quality and Operations. This position will be resident in Framingham this position the Co-op will have the opportunity to drive and coordinate key initiatives related to the safety returns process and field performance management in support of consumer products. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the quality of Bose consumer products while learning and working in an innovative and creative environment.
Role responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Facilitate manage and engage in key initiatives for the Safety Returns Process this will include presenting to stakeholders
- Process improvement efforts related to both the Safety Returns Process and the Field Performance issue management process
- Assist in sample management for both the Safety Returns Process and the Field Performance Management Process
- Assist in failure analysis efforts on product field returns
Successful candidate must have the following skills and qualifications:
- Project management experience in cross-functional environments
- Working knowledge of 8D Structured Problem Solving Six Sigma and Lean Principles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Project Planning tools
- Technical writing and documentation skills
- Working knowledge of Quality Data and Quality Data systems
- Ability to independently manage complex tasks and assignments and lead them to completion
- Work in-person in our Framingham office hybrid 3 days/week
