Underwriter within our Facilities Group part of our Facultative & Structured Risks Divisionsupports the underwriting of property risks placed into the Client Edge Facility. This role assists facility leadership in evaluating submissions supporting quoting activity and maintaining underwriting discipline across shared and layered property programs. The position offers handson exposure to complex property risks facility underwriting and collaboration with brokers and carrier partners.

The Role
Manages brokerage responsibilities for a book of new and recurring exposures
Leads broking communication efforts by e-mail telephone and written correspondence with underwriters and producers
Obtains and distributes information from client and/or producing office
Assists or may lead front end sales/RFP efforts
Prepares/oversees creation of proposals submissions and quotes
Design and prepare analytics/modeling material for clients and offices
Evaluates and develops coverage confirmation for review
Reviews binders for accuracy and completeness
Sorts and distributes work assignments for developing brokers
Maintain and develop business relationships with client advocates producers and senior underwriting contacts
Maintains knowledge of insurance carriers and their business practice
Participates in continuing education to maintain licensure and industry credentials

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors including but not limited to location of the role individual competencies education/professional certifications qualifications/experience performance in the role and potential for revenue generation.
Compensation
The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $85000-$105000 USDper year.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
