We are now looking for a Service Desk Technician to join an international Internal Service Desk team supporting users across multiple countries.

This is a hands-on role where youll be the first point of contact for IT-related issues working on-site in Malmö while collaborating closely with colleagues globally.


About the role

As a Service Desk Technician you will support end users with daily IT incidents and requests. Youll troubleshoot hardware/software issues manage accounts document cases in ticketing systems and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives and innovative projects.

You will be part of a team distributed across 8 different countries making collaboration and communication a key part of your daily work.


Key responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues (OS applications network)

  • Manage user accounts (password resets access permissions etc.)

  • Document and track incidents in the ticketing system

  • Escalate complex cases and collaborate with other IT teams

  • Support setup and configuration of new hardware and software

  • Provide guidance and training to users on IT systems and tools

  • Contribute to improvement initiatives and innovative projects


We are looking for someone who has

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems

  • Experience with common software applications

  • Basic understanding of network concepts and troubleshooting

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • A structured and proactive mindset with strong initiative

  • A service-oriented approach and consulting mindset


Education

Degree in Computer Science or proven experience in a similar IT support / Service Desk role.


Language requirements

  • Fluent in Swedish and English
