JOB TITLEGENERAL MANAGER (GM)
REPORTS TO CEO/DirectorPOSITION DESCRIPTIONPosition purpose
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall operational and strategic leadership of TDT Training Australia. The role ensures the effective delivery of high-quality training services strong financial performance compliance with regulatory standards and sustainable business growth. The GM provides leadership to site managers driving operational excellence and client satisfaction while aligning with TDTs mission and values.
Main tasks Core objectives include:Support the CEO in Business strategy identify growth opportunities and drive innovation
Increases managements effectiveness efficiency through design and implementation of accountability measures in collaboration with senior management team
Provide operational oversight by ensuring consistency in efficient delivery of training and service across all TDT sites
Prepare and manage budget forecasts and financial report collaboration with Head of Finance
Build strong relationship with clients regulators industry partners in collaboration with Heads of Departments
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Provide team leadership through coaching and support to site managers to deliver operational and commercial goals in liaison with senior management teamThe above list is not exhaustive and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of the Duties

PERSON SPECIFICATIONQualifications
Tertiary qualification in Business or Management (preferred)Experience
Senior management experience in training education logistics or related industryKnowledge
Strong knowledge of RTO compliance and vocational training frameworksSkills & competencies
Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels written phone and face to face
Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely varying communication style depending upon the audience
Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others both internally and externally
Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical commercial manner
Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members
Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely mannerPersonal attributes
