Job Summary
Robert Horne Ford LLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Dealership Used Car Technician to join our team in Apache Junction this role you will be responsible for inspecting servicing and repairing used vehicles to ensure they meet our high-quality standards before they are offered for sale. You will work closely with our service and sales teams to provide exceptional customer satisfaction through reliable and thorough vehicle assessments and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostic testing on used vehicles to identify mechanical and cosmetic issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on used cars including engine work brakes suspension and electrical systems.
- Ensure all vehicles comply with safety and quality standards before release for sale.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.
- Collaborate with the sales and parts departments to source necessary components and ensure timely vehicle preparation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety procedures.
Requirements
- Prior experience as an automotive technician preferably with used vehicle inspection and repair.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems.
- ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and technical bulletins.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
