Job Summary

We are engineering the backbone of the AI revolution. Qdrant provides the essential memory layer for Artificial Intelligence enabling developers to build applications that dont just process data but understand it.

But our ambition goes beyond direct sales. We believe the most powerful AI applications of the future wont just use a vector databasethey will have one embedded inside them. We are looking for a strategic architect to make Qdrant the invisible engine powering the worlds leading software platforms enterprise applications and cloud services.

Tasks

The Role

We are seeking a high-level commercial operator to build our OEM and Embedded AI business from the ground up. Unlike traditional channel sales this role is not about referrals; it is about architecture and integration. You will identify negotiate and close complex White-Label and Embedded partnerships where Qdrant becomes the underlying vector engine for major ISVs SaaS platforms and Global Systems Integrators.

You will hunt for the Whalesthe platforms that need semantic search RAG or recommendation engines native to their own products. Simultaneously you will align with the innovators. You will forge strategic alliances with cutting-edge System Integrators and Developer Platforms that are building the next wave of AI. You will ensure that when these builders define the modern AI stackwhether via a boutique AI consultancy or a next-gen agent frameworkQdrant is the embedded default.

The Strategy

You will define the Stripe for AI strategy for Qdrant. You will work directly with Product and Engineering to answer the question: How do we make Qdrant the ubiquitous invisible layer for any software company building GenAI features You will move beyond simple partnerships to create deep technical dependenciesstructuring Powered by Qdrant relationships that drive long-term sticky revenue.

Requirements

What You Will Bring to the Table

  • Location: You must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City. We are specifically hiring for our US entity in these key hubs.
  • OEM Mastery: You have specific experience selling Embedded OEM or White-Label technology. You understand the difference between a reseller agreement and a technology licensing agreement.
  • Technical Fluency: You can explain to a Product VP why they should embed Qdrant rather than building their own vector search on top of PostgreSQL or ElasticSearch. You understand APIs latency and the architectural implications of embedding a database.
  • Commercial Creativity: You are comfortable structuring non-standard partnerships. You know how to model pricing for high-volume distribution (e.g. per-user % of revenue fixed royalty).
  • Patience & Grit: You understand that OEM design-wins have long cycles but massive payoffs. You have the resilience to manage 6-12 month partnership cycles with multiple stakeholders (Product Engineering Legal Procurement).
  • Collaboration: You can work hand-in-glove with our Solutions Architects to prove technical feasibility during the design-in phase of a partnership.

  • Candidates who have previously sold Middleware Database-as-a-Service or DevTools to other software companies.
  • Background in Solutions Architecture and Sales
  • A Product Mindsetyou dont just sell what we have; you help partners envision what they can build with us.
  • Deep understanding of the modern AI stack (LLMs RAG Embeddings) and where the value chain is moving.
  • Existing relationships with Product leaders at major SaaS companies (e.g. ERP CRM Security) or the founders of emerging Developer Platforms.
