Salary: 9-12 LPAWe are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive front-end sales and account development for electronics design services and solutionscatering to Aerospace Defence and Government customersin India.The role focuses on building and expanding business with DRDO labs DPSUs defence PSUs government organisations and system integrators supporting long-cycle programs and converting opportunities into sustained revenue.Key Responsibilities:- Drive business development and revenue growth in Aerospace & Defence electronics programs
- Engage with DRDO DPSUs defence PSUs government bodies and system integrators
- Identify track and convert design-led opportunities RFQs tenders and defence programs
- Work closely with internal engineering/design teams to position solutions and capabilities
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline and forecast accuracy
- Support program discussions from early design engagement through commercial closure
- Maintain strong relationships with technical procurement and program stakeholders
- Achieve assigned sales targets and program wins
Candidate Profile :- 5 - 8 years of experience in business development / saleswithin:
- Electronics Design Services
- Embedded systems
- Aerospace & Defence electronics ecosystem
- Mandatory experience working with or selling to:
- DRDO / DPSUs / Defence PSUs / Govt organisations
- Defence system integrators or electronics design houses
- Strong understanding of electronics design embedded systems and program-based sales
- Exposure to RFQs tenders and long sales cycles is essential
- BE / BTech in Electronics / Electrical / related discipline (MBA is a plus)
- Good communication stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel as required
