eShocan is seeking an experienced Analyst Developer Backend/API to support a high-impact enterprise application within a large-scale automotive commerce environment. This role focuses on backend development and external API creation using Java and the Spring framework supporting order entry and inventory-related systems that are critical to daily dealer operations.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with architects internal development teams and third-party vendors to design develop document and test scalable APIs. This position is well-suited for a seasoned backend engineer who thrives in fast-paced Agile environments and can take ownership of assigned user stories from design through deployment.

• Design develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.

• Build and expose external APIs to support catalog and inventory integration across internal and third-party systems.

• Collaborate with solution architects to translate technical designs and requirements into clean scalable implementations.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning and weekly status meetings.

• Perform unit testing and system/integration testing including coordination with third-party vendors.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for APIs interfaces and implemented features.

• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues related to performance data integrity and API behavior.

• Ensure code quality maintainability and adherence to enterprise development standards.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

• 5 7 years of professional experience in backend software development.

• Strong expertise in Java backend development.

• Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Proven experience in REST API design and development.

• Solid working knowledge of PostgreSQL or similar relational database technologies.

• Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries.

• This is a short-term assignment (3 months) focused on supporting a new project initiative.
