Note TYPE: 100% Remote with travel to suppliers and Corning sites as needed (hours may may vary but will mostly be 8am - 5pm EST). Candidate Location: Candidates should be located in EST or CST time zones only. Interview Process: 1st interview will be 45 min Teams Meeting in which candidate will be asked to give a presentation (15 minutes) highlighting one or two packaging projects and innovative solutions they have done. 2nd interview will most likely be a 30 mins Teams Meeting with a MT&E customer. Immigration Status: Must be eligible to work in the US for a minimum of 18 months. Spotlight Call To Be Held Friday Feb 6 AT 10:30AM EST!. TRAVEL Requirements: 0-25% Domestic and International depending on up specific project. Travel will typically be 1 week or less at a time to Corning facilities customer or supplier sites. Work Schedule: Workload and schedule will fluctuate (part-time to full-time) depending on project phase and internal customer demands for packaging support. Support will be called upon as needed so there may be periods of low demand with no support required.

• CAD drawings artwork management and packaging documentation experience

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design and develop innovative cost-effective packaging solutions aligned with product manufacturing customer and regulatory requirements
• Build prototypes and lead packaging testing validation and DOE activities in partnership with Quality Assurance
• Drive sustainable packaging initiatives to reduce environmental impact and support company goals
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve packaging designs reduce costs and streamline processes
• Partner with suppliers and sourcing teams to manage materials costs quality and second-sourcing opportunities
• Prepare and maintain packaging specifications CAD drawings artwork and documentation while supporting packaging-related production and customer issues
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in packaging engineering related roles.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Packaging Engineering Mechanical Engineering Materials Science or related field
• Minimum of 7 years of packaging engineering experience
• Proficiency with packaging design and CAD software
• Strong understanding of packaging regulations testing standards and compliance requirements
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
