Job Summary

One of our manufacturing clients is looking for a Maintenance Technician at Akron OH location for their facility.

Shift - 1st shift Days (6.30 am to 4 pm)

Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery equipment and facility systems to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic issues using schematics manuals and technical drawings
Execute preventive maintenance schedules inspections calibrations and document all activities in CMMS or maintenance logs
Maintain production equipment motors conveyors HVAC pumps compressors and assist with installations and upgrades
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices at all times
Perform general facility maintenance including basic electrical plumbing carpentry and building repairs
Coordinate with production engineering and vendors; track spare parts inventory and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance including at least 2 years working with CNC machine repair and maintenance

Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing machinery
Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of Heidenhain controls is an asset
