Job Summary: The Pharmacist provides safe accurate and timely medication management services within an acute inpatient setting supporting patient care across medical emergency and psychiatric services. This role emphasizes clinical accuracy regulatory compliance and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities
Review prepare and dispense medications in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
Verify medication orders for appropriateness dosing interactions and safety.
Support inpatient clinical areas including acute care Emergency Department and Psychiatry.
Prepare and oversee sterile and IV medications in compliance with USP standards.
Document pharmacy activities accurately within the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and clinical staff to optimize medication therapy.

Requirements
Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience Required
Experience in acute inpatient pharmacy settings including ED and Psychiatry Required
Sterile processing and IV room experience Required
Pharmacy dispensing system experience Required
EMR experience Preferred
Ability to work a fixed evening schedule (3:30 PM 12:00 AM)
Weekend-only schedule required (every weekend; days off midweek)
Ability to complete 2 weeks of daytime training (9:00 AM 5:00 PM) including EPIC training

Education: Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy or higher Required

License
Valid New York State Pharmacist license issued by NYSED Required
