Begin with full-time in-office work for the first few months to complete onboarding & receive full support through the accreditation process then transition to a hybrid work model. (2 days in the office and 3 days working from home).
Whats the role
The Financial Crime Surveillance (FCS) team is part of Westpacs Risk Division and is responsible for detecting deterring and fighting financial crime. This role is part of the first line of defence for financial crime related risks such as Know Your Customer and Foreign Tax Operations.
Financial Crime Analysts play a crucial role in safeguarding our financial ecosystem. Dive deep into cases using a blend of critical thinking and investigative skills to uncover potential financial crimes.
As Risk Analyst in Foreign Tax you will identify assess and manage risks associated with a banks international tax obligations particularly FATCA CRS and other crossborder reporting requirements ensuring we comply with global tax laws maintain accurate client tax data and mitigate regulatory operational and financial risk.
