Position: Content Ops Manager
Job Description:
Are you a systems-minded strategist who thrives on connecting platforms optimizing workflows and enabling intelligent automation As a DAM Librarian/Content Operations Strategist youll define and execute the strategy for CMS DAM and tool interconnectivity-focusing on platform governance scalable content delivery and the intelligent automation of asset management. Youll partner closely with product engineering and content teams to ensure digital assets are discoverable compliant and leveraged to their fullest potential.
Work youll do Platform Strategy & Governance
- Define and evolve the strategy for CMS DAM and workflow tool integration ensuring seamless interconnectivity and governance across platforms.
- Develop and maintain efficient workflows for asset usage reuse and lifecycle management optimizing for scalability and automation.
- Implement and refine metadata strategies and taxonomies to enable quick accurate asset discovery and retrieval.
- Manage permissions access controls and ensure all assets meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Content Operations and Automation
- Coordinate asset management across integrated platforms (CMS DAM workflow management systems) driving consistency and operational excellence.
- Integrate AI-driven solutions for metadata tagging content routing and automated quality assurance.
- Build reusable intelligent templates and automate version control to streamline content operations.
- Collaborate with Engineering to deploy and optimize AI-powered workflow automations.
Education and Continuous Improvement
- Educate teams on DAM best practices system features and governance policies.
- Continuously assess and improve system efficiency leveraging analytics and user feedback.
- Develop and deliver training materials documentation and support resources for cross-functional partners.
Collaboration & Communication
Operate as the content operations lead: participate in backlog grooming stand-ups critiques and reviews; align on scope risks and sequencing with PM and Engineering.
Partner with designers engineers and content creators to ensure assets are implemented correctly localized effectively and meet organizational standards. Present work and rationale to stakeholders with clarity; facilitate reviews and incorporate feedback quickly while safeguarding asset integrity and consistency. Write edit and proof metadata asset descriptions and operational documentation with high standards for accuracy and clarity.
Qualifications Required
4 6 years in DAM CMS or content operations roles collaborating within cross-functional teams.
A portfolio demonstrating outcome-oriented asset management workflow optimization and automation initiatives.
Mastery of metadata taxonomy design and asset lifecycle management.
Experience planning and interpreting usability and A/B tests; strong articulation of operational decisions using data and research.
Fluency with DAM/CMS platforms and content tooling (e.g. asset libraries workflow automation tools); ability to produce developer-ready specifications.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Adobe Workfront Adobe Target Salesforce and other CMS DAM and CRM platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills and the ability to explain rationale to technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong organization and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple tracks and incorporate feedback quickly.
Growth mindset with a willingness to learn new tools and approaches.
Nice to Have
Experience working within pods/squads in agile environments; comfort leading content operations for a domain or platform.
Background in regulated or complex domains; partnering with Legal/Compliance and Risk.
Familiarity with product analytics and AI-driven automation.
