Responsible for the planning coordination and provision of nursing care to patients in ICU Step Down Unit Med Surg Day Stay Unit PACU and ER. Responsible for maintaining competencies required for each of these units. Supervises and delegates care responsibilities to ancillary personnel commensurate with their scope of practice. This position is represented by CNA.

Shift TimeEducation and Work Experience:Associate Degree(A.S.) or equivalent: RequiredBachelors Degree in Nursing: PreferredOne year ICU or Step-Down/Progressive Care High Risk Labor and Delivery or ER experience in the last 5 years: RequiredCompletion of Critical Care Course(or equivalent experience): PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Current RN license in state of practice: RequiredBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: RequiredACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): RequiredPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS OR HS-PALS OR RQIPALS) certification: Required within 60 days of hire or transferTrauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or enrolled in upcoming TNCC classs: RequiredRegistered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Required within 6 months of hire or transfer: Required
