Job Summary
Role: Scrum Master/ Technical Project Manager
Location: Elk Grove CA
Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead and facilitate Scrum events (Sprint Planning Daily Stand-ups Sprint Reviews Retrospectives) to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Coach and Mentor Teams: Guide the team on Agile principles and Scrum practices providing coaching and support to improve self-organization and efficiency.
- Remove Roadblocks: Identify and resolve issues that prevent the team from achieving their goals helping to ensure the team can maintain momentum throughout sprints.
- Foster Collaboration: Promote a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement facilitating communication between cross-functional teams.
- Track Progress: Use Agile tools (e.g. Jira Trello Azure DevOps) to track team progress sprint metrics and release schedules ensuring timely delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Help teams identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for how to improve processes delivery and overall team performance.
Technical Project Management Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Oversee and manage project timelines scope and resources. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with product owners business stakeholders and leadership to gather requirements set priorities and communicate progress.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and create mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential issues on the project timeline and quality.
- Manage Scope: Ensure the project scope aligns with business objectives managing changes effectively and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
