MMUHS is actively searching for a Varsity Head Football Coach. Salary range is based on years of experience and position accepted. Candidates should have an understanding of the sport and enjoy working with and teaching fundamental skills to high school athletes.
Candidates are to provide an educational environment; which fosters the attributes of individual improvement fair play sportsmanship teamwork and school spirit in pursuit of a common goal. Candidates should strive to develop a love of the activity and instill an appreciation and knowledge of the activity as a route to a healthy lifestyle. Candidates should also have good management and people skills; as you will be in charge of developing the football culture and vision of the program.
The coach will need to complete Fundamentals of Coaching First Aide Implicit Bias as well as AED and CPR training. Additionally they will need to have completed the Concussion Certification course through the NFHS and complete the Heat Illness Sudden Cardiac Arrest and Football Tackling training prior to the start of pre-season.
