Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Medical Assistant youll keep the day running smoothly and efficiently for your patients and clinical team.
Every day you will take the lead on proactively preparing patient charts ensuring all information is obtained and up-to-date for those seen in our facility. You can expect to have multiple patients daily depending on the number of physicians are on-site.
Your success in this role comes from your enthusiasm to help others work efficiently and your empathy for our patients.
- Assist physicians in delivering comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders.
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks including taking vital signs patient documentation and preparation for examinations.
- Ensure the efficient and compassionate care of patients contribute to the smooth operation of the clinic and maintain accurate patient records.
- Prepare patient rooms for exams/procedures
- Complete forms letters and other follow up as requested by the provider
- Assist provider (s) during patient procedures
Job Requirements
- High School Graduate General Studies upon hire or
- High School GED General Studies upon hire and
- Other Graduate of medical assisting program upon hire and
- Other Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR within 30 Days
