General Description :
Provides general administrative support to a department or group of professionals. Work is performed under general supervision and requires incumbents to exercise independence and discretion. Typically requires several years of relevant experience.
Role :
- Release Planning & Scheduling
Define release scope timelines and readiness with product owners squad/tribe teams and stakeholders.
Align with broader organizational calendars such as GDC Change Calendar Euroclear Release Calendar or divisional release timelines.
Prepare & lead Go/NoGo decision meetings ensuring all prerequisites are met.
2. Release Coordination & Execution
Coordinate activities across development testing infrastructure tools and operations teams to ensure a smooth release.
Guarantee that necessary deployments are executed in lower environments (DEV/TST/QA/PIE) before PPE/PROD.
Ensure integrity of the release package through impact analysis and risk assessment.
Drive continuous integration and deployment practices (DevOps ways of working).
3. Governance Compliance and Process Ownership
Maintain traceability between features test plans and release documentation using tools like Azure DevOps / ServiceNow / TFS.
Ensure compliance with organizational release processes and controls.
Manage lessons learned continuous improvement actions and postlaunch validations.
4. Communication & Reporting
- Provide clear and timely communication on release status progress risks issues and deviations.
- Represent the release function in boards (e.g. Divisional Release Board TCAB).
Maintain dashboards tracking progress blockers bug status and readiness.
5. CrossTeam & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with Tribe Leads Squad Leads Divisional Release Managers and Infrastructure teams.
- Manage dependencies across squads tribes and external teams.
Act as the first point of contact for external queries about release readiness or issues.
6. PostRelease Activities
- Validate postproduction status (SLA1/SLA2 applications) jointly with Watch Duty teams.
Lead issue resolution coordinate RCA and ensure structural improvements.
