Description
This on-site contract position is located in Orange Park and offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality neurological care in a supportive medical practice environment.
As a Neurology Locum you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing a variety of neurological conditions ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough neurological evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various neurological disorders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in neurology
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely
- Participate in case discussions and clinical meetings
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards in medical practice
Requirements
- MD or DO degree with a valid medical license
- Completion of a residency in Neurology
- Experience in a clinical neurology setting (Associate level)
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practice
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Schedule: 7a-7a specific dates
Call required
Will cover 3 EDs
Duties: General neurology and stroke alerts
Support Staff: Nurses techs
EMR: Meditech Patient Keeper eCW
Board certification required
Paid travel & expenses
