Job Summary

**Job-Specific Responsibilities and Tasks:**

The following duties encompass essential functions but are not limited to:

- Initiate execute and conclude designated responsibilities in delivering patient care across a diverse patient demographic.

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments based on clinical conditions utilizing professional judgment to determine the appropriate sequence of procedures and interventions while accurately documenting pertinent patient data.

- Systematically observe assess and address individualized patient care requirements encompassing medication administration equipment-assisted interventions and patient/family education protocols.

- Prepare and administer prescribed pharmacological agents (oral topical subcutaneous intramuscular and intravenous routes) in accordance with established clinical policies and procedural guidelines.

- Identify and respond to critical or emergent patient care scenarios collaborating with RNs and MDs/DOs to implement necessary emergency interventions as directed.

- Execute support functions for complex diagnostic evaluations and specialized procedures which include patient preparation assistance during diagnostic examinations manipulation of specialized instruments and equipment and ongoing patient monitoring throughout the peri-procedural continuum.

- Mentor and orient peers and ancillary staff regarding unit-specific protocols procedural competencies and standards of clinical practice.

- Foster a culturally competent and supportive work environment that enhances patient care delivery promotes health education for patients and families and elevates staff satisfaction.

**Schedule:**- Monday through Friday totaling 9 hours between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.

- No weekend or holiday shifts required.

**Minimum Qualifications:**

**Education:** Completion of an accredited program in nursing from a community college junior college vocational institution or university validated by relevant state agencies and recognized by the Commission on Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA) or equivalent accrediting bodies. -

**Experience:** A minimum of one year of full-time practice as an LVN/LPN post-graduation.

**Licensure:** Current unrestricted LVN/LPN licensure from any state jurisdiction.

**Life Support Certification:** Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from AHA or ARC.

**Certifications:** Completion of a Certified Occupational Hearing Conservation Training (CAOHC) course is mandatory along with possession of a current NIOSH-approved Spirometry Testing Certificate. Contractors must fulfill NIOSH-approved spirometry and CAOHC requirements within 12 months of commencement.

**Security Clearance:** Eligibility to successfully undergo and pass a government security background investigation.
