As a Radiologist you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and interpreting medical images to provide exceptional care to patients. Responsibilities
- Interpret medical images including X-rays MRIs and CT scans
- Provide accurate diagnoses and treatment recommendations
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to discuss patient cases
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
- Stay updated on advancements in radiological technology and practices
- Participate in continuous education and training opportunities
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Mentor and guide junior radiologists and medical staff
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active medical license to practice in Florida
- Experience in radiology preferably in a clinical setting
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with radiology software and technology
- Commitment to patient care and professional ethics
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-5p
Weekday and weekend beeper call shifts required
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Daily Volume: 5-7 cases
100% IR
Case Types: Oncology transplant/portal hypertension endocrine interventions vascular disease mens health womens health or MSK/spine
Support Staff: APPs to help with minor procedures
Must be board-certified
