Job Description:
We are looking for a Jr. Design Engineer Electrical to support the design and engineering of LV Control Panels in line with customer specifications applicable standards and internal SOPs. The role involves preparing electrical drawings BOMs and assisting senior engineers throughout the design lifecycle using E-PLAN and AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in design and detailing of LV Control Panels (PCC MCC PLC & Customized Panels)
Prepare and modify:
General Arrangement (GA) Drawings
Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
Control & Power Wiring Diagrams
Terminal layouts and schedules
Support BOM preparation and verification
Work on E-PLAN software for schematic development
Ensure compliance with IS 8623 / IEC 61439 standards
Coordinate with Production QC and Testing teams
Support senior engineers during FAT & internal testing
Update drawings as per revisions and maintain proper documentation
Assist in preparing As-Built drawings after manufacturing
Follow ISO and internal design control procedures
Requirements
Basic knowledge of LV Control Panel design
Hands-on or academic exposure to E-PLAN software
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Understanding of electrical components and panel layouts
Awareness of electrical standards (IS / IEC basic level)
Basic knowledge of BOM preparation
Willingness to learn FAT QA checks and commissioning support
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and take ownership
Good communication and coordination skills
Team-oriented attitude
Time management and task prioritization
