Job Summary
Adelphi is seeking Sign Language Interpreters to provide services to students at a school district in Alvin Texas. The ideal candidates will provide a full range of interpreting services to students enrolled in the school district in accordance with established standards of care and in compliance with district policies and guidelines.

Requirements:
Atleast 48 hours college hours or Higher
Minimum Level 1 Interpreter Certification by Texas Commission for the Deaf or Registry for the Deaf
knowledge of the code of ethics established by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID)
School-based experience
Responsibilities:
Provide interpreting and transliterating services for students with hearing impairments in instructional settings.
Prepare for assignments by reviewing subject matter and relevant sign language vocabulary.
Participate as a member of the educational team by contributing input on student progress and performance.
Maintain FERPA-compliant confidentiality and professional conduct.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
