Job Duties:

This position provides communicative administrative and event support to the NEW Manufacturing Alliance and the North Coast Marine Manufacturing Alliance with a primary focus on maintaining a strong digital presence and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position reports to the Executive Director and is based out of their Appleton office.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Take meeting minutes track follow-up action items coordinate follow-up with meeting participants regarding next steps and schedule meetings for staff and leadership as needed

  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets correspondence surveys reports flyers name

    badges presentations programs outlines and budgets

  • Maintain and regularly update the NEW Manufacturing Alliance and North Coast

    Marine Manufacturing Alliance websites using the WordPress platform

  • Assist with travel arrangements and room reservations

  • Optimize website content for clarity accuracy and visibility ensuring information is

    current and aligned with organizational priorities

  • Assist with the planning preparation and on-site support of special events and meetings

  • Support the design and production of marketing and promotional materials including flyers posters banners and multimedia content

Minimum hourly compensation of $17.50.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience using WordPress and Microsoft Office applications (Word Outlook Excel)
  • Familiarity with Adobe design tools
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma

Conditions of Appointment:

Position is a temporary approximate 9-month part-time (50%)University Staff appointment.This position will work 20 hours per week scheduled between 8:00am and 4:45pm Tuesday through Thursday in agreement between the selected candidate and the Executive Director. Will report from the Executive Directors Appleton office and may have the option to work a hybrid schedule subject to approved telecommuting request. Some travel is required for necessary meetings workshops conferences etc. Occasional evening
and and/or weekend work is expected and will be assigned by supervisor as needed.

A criminal conviction investigation will be conducted on the finalist(s). In addition if the final selected candidate has prior work history within the last 7 years with Universities of Wisconsin a personnel file review check for employee misconduct will be completed. A six-month probationary period is required for this compliance with the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act the University does not discriminate on the basis of arrest or conviction record.

Employee Misconduct
