We are seekinga passionateAccountantto join our growing team. As a key member oftheAscendis Pharmateam you will play a crucial role inend-to-end accounting and payment processes with a strong focus on vendor accounting expense management and period-end closing activities across multiple European entities. You play a key role in ensuringaccuratefinancial recordstimelypayments and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards

Youwill be joining theP2P team in Global will report directly to Frederik Dalby Andersen P2P Manager who is based in will also be based in Hellerup.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Manage end-to-end P2P accounting process
- Perform month closing and year-end closing activities
- Support VAT compliance
- Maintain strong internal controls
- Collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
You hold a relevant academic degreewithin accounting or finance and you have5years of experience in accounting and finance operations within an international environment.
Furthermoreyou have:
- Strong experience with vendor accounting payment processes expense management and period-end closing
- Solid understanding of VAT compliance and statistical reporting across multiple EUjurisdictions
- Strong systems knowledge particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations; experience withExFlowand expense management tools is an advantage
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across functions and geographies
Key competencies:
You area strong teamplayer analytical and have a can-do attitude.
Youpossessan entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal open environment where innovation and change are key.
To succeed in this role we also expect you to be able towork independently structured and systematically with complex data and tight deadlines
Travel:5-10daysper year.
