Sunday thru Thursday 8:30pm-5am $24/hrWill need to train on 1st shift 1-2 weeksPurposeUnder general supervision the Material Handler receives product into the parts area and packages and ships domestic spare parts Job FunctionsPull parts orders according to the production schedule and deliver them to the assembly crates and related packaging for product shipments making decisions based on the type and condition of parts being daily shipping requirements and schedules to ensure familiarity with shipping measurements of shipments to determine required truck or van an adequate supply of packing materials and shipping supplies is visual inspections of bills of lading and shipment contents for accuracy and daily pick-ups of completed products with other parts and unload trucks and containers of incoming goods and process required paperwork in the computer incoming goods to the appropriate departments including handling weldments for inspection and rejection parts in the warehouse and create locations for new inventory production leads of incoming parts and fill backorders to the production other reasonably similar or related duties as DemandsWork outdoors in all weather conditions approximately 15% of the inside the plant facility approximately 85% of the Skills and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent of three (3) years of warehouse or distribution forklift operator using computers to access shipping instructions customer orders and related problem-solving and troubleshooting interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
