MicroHealth is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support our DHA National Capital Region (NCR) Network Headquarters Medical Affairs Clinical Quality Management Program Management Services contract. This role provides advanced data analysis reporting and data integration support to enable data-driven decision-making across patient safety clinical quality governance and operational performance initiatives.
The Senior Data Analyst delivers non-personal services and works closely with DHA leadership clinical quality teams and governance bodies to ensure accurate timely and actionable healthcare data insights.
Essential Functions
Under this contract the Senior Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the DHA NCR Medical Directorate Clinical Quality Management Program by providing analytical reporting and data management services that enhance patient safety quality assurance and operational effectiveness.
This position will report onsite at Bethesda MD and have meetings throughout the National Capital Region.
Secret Clearance is REQUIRED.
Responsibilities
- Extract analyze and validate healthcare operational and quality data from multiple sources.
- Develop recurring and ad hoc reports to support patient safety infection control credentialing and governance activities.
- Prepare data visualizations dashboards charts and leadership-ready briefings.
- Integrate data from disparate systems into consolidated tracking tools and reporting platforms.
- Ensure data accuracy completeness and consistency across all reports and deliverables.
- Maintain structured datasets to support monthly quarterly and annual reporting requirements.
- Support governance bodies with data products metrics and analytical insights.
- Assist in preparation of Monthly Progress Reports Quarterly PMRs and leadership briefings.
- Translate complex data into clear actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Support patient safety clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives through data analysis.
- Ensure reporting aligns with DHA DoD and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in data validation and quality assurance processes to support audit and inspection readiness.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Safety Compliance Officers Credentialing & Privileging Managers and Patient Safety staff.
- Respond to data requests from DHA leadership and Medical Affairs stakeholders.
- Document methodologies assumptions and data sources clearly and consistently.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science Health Informatics Statistics or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Advanced experience with data analysis and reporting in a healthcare or government environment.
- Proficiency in SQL data querying and data integration techniques.
- Experience developing dashboards charts and executive-level reports.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting DHA DoD or federal healthcare programs.
- Familiarity with patient safety clinical quality or healthcare performance metrics.
- Experience supporting governance or executive reporting processes.
Salary
$95000-$100000
