Experienced Caregiver

Our clients all live in northern Westchester and Putnam (must drive to homes in towns like Croton on Hudson Ossining Yorktown HeightsSomers Cold Spring South Salem)

Qualifications:

• 6 months of experience as a personal care assistant home health aide professional caregiver. Certification (PCA/HHA) is a plus!
• A valid driver license and insured automobile that is suitable for transporting clients.
• A high level of professionalism and reliability; punctuality
• A genuine desire to assist others and improve their quality of life
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide caring companionship conversation and help with hobbies and leisure activities
• Transportand accompanyclients to their appointments
• Assistwith meal planning grocery shopping and meal preparation
• Supervise daily activities
• Light housekeeping
• Give medication reminders
• Collaborate with clients care team to provide client updates and important health changes

Every client will have different needs that they require assistance with but we make sure to match our clients and caregivers for the optimal fit. Care provided could include assisting with fun hobbies and games that a client enjoys.
