DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific and contribute to critical scientific research and innovation. As a Field Service Engineer III youll provide expert installation maintenance and repair services for sophisticated analytical and microscopy equipment. Working with advanced technology youll deliver outstanding technical support while building strong relationships with customers across research institutions universities and industrial facilities. Youll resolve complex issues conduct preventive maintenance and train users to ensure optimal system performance. This role offers excellent opportunities for professional growth and development within an organization dedicated to serving science.

REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelors degree in Mechatronics Electro-mechanical engineering Electrical or Mechanical engineering or other related discipline.

Minimum 5 years practical experience in field service installation troubleshooting repairing and calibrating sophisticated analytical instruments.
Programming courses (or equivalent practical experience).

Working proficiency of Momentum software features and operations is a plus.

Ongoing technical training and certifications required

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities for hardware and software issues

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to build positive customer relationships
Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages beneficial
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation schematics and engineering drawings
Proficiency with Windows operating systems networking and standard business software

Demonstrated experience with automation robots and/or instrumentation.

Achieved System Hardware and Software Integrator skills.

Valid drivers license and ability to travel 50 - 75% including regular 3 to 5 days onsite visits
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in laboratory environments
Experience mentoring and training others preferred
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration
Availability to respond to urgent customer needs
Must follow all safety protocols and be able to work in cleanroom environments when required
