We are the Proteomic Sciences division (former Olink Proteomics). Our solutions are transforming the understanding of human diseases through advanced protein biomarker discovery. With our innovative Olink solutions including highly specific and validated assays that cover more than 5000 proteins our colleagues and technology empower scientists in groundbreaking research that will play a pivotal role in the future of personalized medicine.

Job Specific Information:

We are currently looking for a System Administrator to join our IT Laboratory Systems team part of the IT department at the Proteomic Sciences division. The team is responsible for the IT systems supporting our laboratories. We have recently released a new LIMS (Sapio) to parts of our organisation and are currently in an exciting rollout phase. The new LIMS helps to streamline operations maintain data integrity and drive scientific excellence.

As a System Administrator you will be responsible for maintaining the LIMS infrastructure data models supporting end-users and our SMEs initiating and implementing improvements to optimize our processes and customer experience. You will ensure that the systems meet regulatory requirements while integrating seamlessly with other lab and enterprise systems.

The role is placed in our Uppsala HQ at Salagatan 16 working close to the business and reporting to our Manager IT Laboratory Systems. We work 3 days from the office with the flexibility of working 2 days from home

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to translating business needs into technical and functional requirement specifications
  • Configure and improve the LIMS system and related applications
  • Collaborate with teams from IT RnD Lab and vendors to optimize workflows processes and system configurations
  • Provide training and technical support to user
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Ensure data integrity security and compliance with regulatory requirements e.g. GAMP
  • Create and maintain documentation including system configurations SOPs validation records
  • Participate in projects validation and testing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in IT Computer science or a related field or experience that is deemed equivalent for this position
  • Extensive experience in system configuration and administration
  • Experience in IT system testing
  • Experience in IT system troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem solving communication and teamwork skills
  • Full professional proficiency in Swedish and English

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in project management
  • Experience configuring a LIMS or ELN
  • Experience with GAMP and system validation
  • Experience with Jira
  • Familiarity with integration and data analysis tools
  • Familiarity with coding and databases
