We are looking for a Senior Cost Accountant; a strong financial presence in our manufacturing operation. This isnt a desk-based finance role - we are looking for a highly impactful individual that is involved in our daily plant operations - spending time on the floor understanding product flows identifying constraints and viewing how decisions get made in real time. Understanding the operation end-to-end and connecting operational reality to the financial not just reporting after the fact is an essential element of this role.

What You Will Do
- Plant-level budgeting forecasting and monthly reporting
- Cost control and variance analysis with a clear focus on understanding and acting on drivers
- Ownership and ongoing maintenance of standard costs across materials labour and overhead
- Partnering with operations to identify track and deliver cost-saving initiatives
- Financial oversight of capital spending including business cases approvals and post-investment reviews
- Supporting month-end close related to inventory WIP overhead absorption and COGS
- Acting as the day-to-day finance point of contact for the plant while working closely with the central finance team
What We Need
- CPA designation or currently pursuing.
- Strong knowledge in fundamental accounting principles and activities
- Minimum 5 years experience working in a finance-based role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experienced within ERP systems preferably Visual
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to identify inaccuracies and areas of concern.
- Ability to interpret financial data and translate it into operational insights
- Comfortable with engaging with on-the-floor manufacturing operations on a daily basis; this role requires direct engagement with our manufacturing teams and operations.
