Description
The Business Development (BD) Assistant supports US-based BD managers in driving growth and revenue for Millimans Property & Casualty and Life consulting practices. This new role meets rising demand for BD support and will collaborate with stakeholders across all levels to implement BD and marketing plans. The BD team is part of the MarCom department whose overall goal is to set marketing standards at Milliman through meetings support email marketing CRM management website development media relations creative services and business development.
What You Will Do:
Proposal and Pitch Support:
- Support the team with the creation of content for client meetings and pitches
- Update and improve proposal content
- Conduct client industry and competitor research
- Maintain the proposal resource center
BD Operations:
- Maintain firmwide library of client-facing content
- Support the team with tracking leads and business development opportunities
- Update internal SharePoint sites as required
- Manage BD / vendor invoices on behalf of the team
- Be the teams Wrike superuser
Client Data:
- Support the management of client data within Dynamics CRM to ensure it is accurate and up to date
- Create reports with data available in Dynamics
- Analyze data and make recommendations on follow-up marketing/business development activity

The Team:
US team
- Director (NY) overall team strategy and leadership with oversight of BD for Life and P&C globally.
- Manager (PA) primarily supports on US activities with a focus on P&C. Assistant reports to this role.
- Manager (MA) primarily supports on US activities with a focus on Life.
UK team
- Manager (UK) leads European activity.
- Executive (UK) supports the UK-based manager on European activity.
What We Are Looking For:
Professional qualifications:
- Experience at a professional services firm required
- Degree certification or equivalent experience in marketing or a related field
- 02 years of experience in business development marketing or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
Personal qualifications:
- Excellent communication and organizational skills ability to speak up
- Strong work ethic works smarter not harder
- Research and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and proofreading skills
- Cultural awareness with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders in multiple countries
- Ability to establish trust with key stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks work with several people simultaneously and meet deadlines

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $66300 - $97865 depending on a combination of factors including but not limited to education relevant work experience qualifications skills certifications location etc.
