Responsibilities: - Producing mammography screenings and diagnostic exams following established protocols and guidelines.
- Utilizing general x-ray bone densitometry and mammography modalities to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately communicate imaging findings.
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in mammography technology and techniques to provide optimal services to patients.
- Following established protocols for infection control and patient safety during all procedures.
Qualifications: - ARRT certification and a current Iowa permit to practice in general radiography is required.
- ARRT certification in mammography is a plus.
- State certified mammography training program is available for onsite specialty training.
- Some lifting is involved with this position.
