Job Summary

Job Description

The CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) team is responsible for numerical virtual simulations that support critical engineering decisions early in the vehicle development cycleoften before the physical vehicle exists.
Our scope includes advanced simulation for Crash Safety Durability and Performance ensuring products achieve the highest standards of quality innovation and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Develop document and communicate modeling plans and simulation strategies (FEA) to the engineering organization.

  • Create and execute Finite Element Analysis (FEA) plans for assigned components and subsystems.

  • Contribute to the development and optimization of finite element models within the team.

  • Evaluate simulation results interpret trends balance requirements and recommend technical solutions.

  • Collaborate effectively with engineers designers technicians suppliers and leadership teams.

  • Support the introduction of new tools processes and simulation methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Mechatronic Electrical Automotive Aerospace or Computer Science Engineering.

  • Strong experience with commercial CAE tools for pre/post-processing and solvers such as:

    • LS-DYNA (highly preferred)

    • NASTRAN

    • ANSYS

    • Abaqus

    • or other similar FEM tools

  • Relevant experience applying CAE methods in product development.

  • Solid understanding of simulation workflows in Safety (Crash) or Durability is a plus.

  • Advanced English (required for global collaboration).

  • Experience in the automotive industry (highly valued).

  • Experience in Tier 1 suppliers or engineering consulting (strongly considered).

  • Candidates from other industries are welcome as long as they bring robust CAE experience.

This means the selected candidate is expected to report to a specific location at least 3 times a week or other frequency dictated by their manager.
