Patient Service Representative - Medical Office Front Desk - Family Medicine - Eagle Grove IA
Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5pm w/ half day off every week (36 hours per week and every 4th Saturday from 8a-12p)
As an Experience Specialist/Receptionist you are the first person to greet patients as they walk into our clinics. Primary duties will include checking-in patients assisting with scheduling answering phones processing co-payments and follow up appointments as needed. Customer service empathy and compassion are the biggest assets in this position.

Responsibilities
- Provide a professional welcoming first point of contact for patients and visitors offering information on services and procedures.
- Keep patients and families informed about wait times provider availability and any delays.
- Address general inquiries and concerns with empathy escalating complex issues as needed.
- Offer guidance on charges payment processes and insurance procedures.
- Maintainaccurateand uptodate patient records in theelectronic medical records (EMR)system.
- Answer and route incoming calls providing basic information asappropriate.
- Ensure all interactions and data handling follow confidentiality and UPH standards.
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Previouscustomer service experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
