Job Summary
Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel is a Leading Hotel of the World and it is imperative that the candidate must have the ability to deliver a high level of service in a confident and professional manner. A full valid driving licence is required for this role.
General responsibilities:
- To ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests.
- To have an understanding of the Hotels Vision & Mission statement as communicated to the team
- Greet arriving and departing guests at the door
- Offer a warm professional first impression.
- Provide basic information or onward directions.
- Assist guests enter/exit vehicles and offer assistance to those with mobility needs.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage and coordinate with bell staff for transporting bags inside.
- Call taxis rideshares or private cars as requested.
- Provide updates to guests on transportation wait times.
- Assist in managing vehicle flow at the entrance.
- Keep the hotels front entrance clean safe and organised.
- Manage traffic and ensure the driveway remains clear.
- Observe activity around the entrance to help maintain security.
- Report suspicious behaviour to hotel security.
- Monitor who enters the building.
- Answer basic questions about hotel services.
- Provide directions to nearby attractions restaurants or transport links.
- Offer support with valet parking cars when needed.
- To ensure that areas of responsibility are clean and well maintained and cleaning checklists are adhered to.
- To report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate departments.
- To ensure that the ambience in departments (lights music and temperature) are controlled.
- To be vigilant throughout the Hotel to promote security
- To have strong product knowledge of all areas of the hotel.
- To accept a flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to Hotel guests and to maintain flexibility within teams.
- To provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel.
- To comply with the hotels cash handling procedure.
- Must currently have the right to work in EU / Ireland full time
- Must have Valid clean Driving License.
- Knowledge of Thai culture will be valued.
